Reported to the General Manager. I managed three Radios at varying product life-cycle. LongReach Radio was a mature Product, EasyReach Radio is a Software Radio made in Australia,and HighReach Radio, a high capacity DMR produced in Cape Town, RSA.
Achievements:
- Reported product commercial visibility to senior management, coordinated EasyReach (ISM band radio) engineering project development and market launch, generated product plans for EasyReach, LongReach, HighReach and NetReach products and product development roll-out plans, identified new markets for Plessey radio products and managed factory forecast and inventory control
- Identified target markets and provided technical assistance for tender responses and technical proposals to sales teams
Liaised with Sales channels to identify and develop new opportunities - Conducted customer microwave radio product training and technology training
- Managed multi-discipline specialist engineering team, including software engineering team, RF engineers and mechanical design group to achieve product launch.
- AWA – Plessey Bottom Line Club by reducing inventory inventory costs by AU$2M through accurate sales forecasting and optimising redundant stock usage
