The PNGASL HF Aeronautical Communication System and Associated Works project has a requirement for the Civil Design component. The project design documentation is divided into 4 components:
- Civil Design
- Electrical Design
- Radio Design
- Network Design
The Detailed Design and associated documents for the above 4 components fulfil the design requirements of Critical Design Review (CDR).
My role as Project engineer was to complete CDR, deliver all design documents for approval and issue of For Construction Drawing sets. This engagement finished when the customer disputed the technical aspect of the project.
